Emily is a graduate of the University of Nebraska Medical Center, College of Dentistry with a Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene. Emily will celebrate her 10th year with Dr. Buchholtz and Family Dental Practice in 2010. She has a collected 20 years in dentistry, though not all in dental hygiene, she began first as a dental assistant and research assistant while completing school. Her interests at Family Dental Practice include; working with patients who haven't received dental care in many years and guiding them back to a state of health. She is excited about teaching patients the link between total body health and oral health.

In her spare time, Emily volunteers her time to the Wisconsin Dental Hygienists' Association where she is a Past President. She is a published author and national speaker to the dental profession.
